Process

Choose your brand, the right one will jump right out at you! Please take into consideration when choosing, how well the brand fits the feel, name and area of the business you’re in.

If you believe this brand is the perfect fit for your business, purchase the brand via the online system. After payment please download and complete the customisation form and contract. This form takes care of all the customisable details of the brand and enables us to see if your business will be a great fit.

Please take the time to fill out the entire form in detail, so we can determine it’s suitability to your business. Complete all of the customisation fields necessary for your specific choice of brand, these will be noted on the initial branding page. Example areas of customisability include business name, colour palette, icons, monograms and stationary details.

Once payment has been received, we will take a look over your personalisation form. If we think you’re right for each other we will send you a confirmation email with 24 hours (excluding weekends) and will mark the item as sold, it’s now yours and only yours!

After browsing over your customisation specifications, we begin tailoring the brand to you. First and foremost, we begin to fit your business name within the brand and font choice. We then tailor any icons or monograms as specified from the personalisation form.

The next step in the personalisation process is the colours. You can specify colours that you currently use within your business, pick from a choice of pantone colours, or if applicable choose from our watercolour and foil swatches. View our colour page.

If your brand package includes any stationary, this is where we will personalise all of your contact information and stationary detailing.

If necessary, you have the option for one round of revisions after the first proofs are sent for no additional cost. Often though, as you know what you are expecting, this isn’t needed. Any further revisions will be charged at The Brand Cave’s hourly rate, please see the T&C’s for any further information.

Once you are happy with the final proofs, we will prepare your brand in all popular file formats including vectorised artwork. You will be invited to download all of the files from google drive via a personalised link that you will receive by email.

We also set up any necessary print files with bleeds and print marks in PDF format, all ready to go straight to print. Voila, you’re ready to face the world with your brand new look!

Now you have received your final files and are ready to put them to use. If you have enjoyed the experience we would really appreciate it if you could leave some kind words about us here. Social media advertising is included in all brand packages through the use of our twitter account. If you choose to make use of your free tweet, we will be in touch to schedule a post to show off your new brand to all of our followers.

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern our working relationship for clients of The Brand Cave. By purchasing a brand, you ultimately agree to all terms & conditions listed below.

Compensation

When purchasing a ready made brand, you understand that until we send you confirmation, we withhold the right to decline and refund your purchase. In the case that we deem your proposal to be unsuitable for the brand, you will be first contacted to discuss our concerns and what the possibilities are. If we cannot come to a workable agreement, we will refund you the full amount and re-list the brand on our site. By making a purchase from The Brand Cave, you agree that once we have sent confirmation that you are a match with the brand, the full and non-refundable payment is due before we commence any work.

Custom Fitting

Client’s brand (name, tagline, etc) must fit into designed brand, to the recommended character count specified on the item, without major changes. The Brand Cave reserves the right to assess the compatibility of the brand to the inquiring purchaser. The customisability depends on the brand package you have chosen and will be specified on the individual item page. Additional design edits that fall outside of what The Brand Cave believes is a reasonable request will be subject to additional fees. If this is the case, The Brand Cave will present the client with a proposal for extra design changes of which the client may choose to accept or refuse. Please note, if your selected brand contains watercolour or foil elements, we have a select amount of  pre approved watercolour and foil swatches from which you must choose. This is to ensure the process is as simple as possible for both parties.

Accreditation and Promotion

You agree that The Brand Cave may reproduce and display the Final Deliverables for promotional and marketing purposes, including, without limitation, in portfolios and websites, in galleries, design periodicals, and other media or exhibits for the purposes of recognition of creative excellence or professional advancement, and to be credited with authorship of the Final Deliverables in connection with such uses.

Delivery and Timeframe

Your files will be available on your personal link for a limited amount of time, so be sure to download your files and create a backup in a timely manner. The Brand Cave is not responsible for maintaining copies of brand files after the project is complete. The initial proofs and final file delivery timeframes will depend on the size of your brand package. We aim to complete all packages within 10 business days, and smaller packages within 5 business days, after the payment has been received. As our client, you have a responsibility to communicate in a timely manner, and timeframes will be affected if this doesn’t occur. If your project goes past 30 days from purchase without response from you, we will re-list the brand and you will not receive your final files.

General Information
  • Stock imagery shown in listing is not included in final files unless otherwise stated.
  • Brand purchase does not include any printed material, only design files shown.
  • Font suggestions shown are not included in final files. If client would like the full font files they must purchase their own license to the proposed font separately.
  • The Brand Cave is not responsible for maintaining copies of brand files after the project is complete. Please keep several backup copies of your final logo files.
  • You may not sell, resell or share any of the items purchased through The Brand Cave. Only one person or business may use a single brand for personal or commercial purposes.
  • We aim to have all brands completed within 10 business days. However, if the client becomes non-responsive or non-communicative during the process, The Brand Cave has the right to terminate the project and keep the non-refundable payment as well as re-list the brand.
Legalities

You agree that we have no responsibility to check any business names or logo types created from The Brand Cave. You are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary rights to use any business/trading names or logos, and are not infringing on any trademarks or existing corporate names/logos in your governing region.
